About this [box]…
The Creative Box is about creativity of all different kinds. Here we believe the Mac whatever model is not just a box but a "creative box." Something where you can create, expand on your ideas, and let your imagination go wild.

I dedicate this site to my Performa 6400/180 and my parents who have encouraged me. I also thank God for giving me what my mother says is an "eye" for design.

About our [staff]…
my pic Akeem Williams

Akeem is currently a college student at Northeastern University and runs Creative Box & Da Dream in his spare time. He is familiar with Adobe Photoshop 7, Adobe ImageReady 3, Adobe GoLive 6, and Microsoft FrontPage 2000 and works at a youth-run web development company, PREP Enterprises. When he is not hunched over homework, web design work, or over his sites he spends his time running track, playing video games, writing poems, (soon to be) playing football, and hanging out with friends.

my pic Jason Williams

Jason is a high school student in a Boston exam school, Boston Latin Academy. He is skilled in REALbasic, a visual programming environment.

He spends most of his time on his computer, a 500mhz G3 iMac (Indigo) with 640MB of RAM. While not blazingly fast, it still packs a punch in his use of Adobe Photoshop 7, GoLive 6, REALbasic, and other things. His Photoshop skill is increasing by the desktop. He is also, for the time being while his older brother is in college, in control of the site's updates.

Yan Williams

Born in China and educated and naturalised in Switzerland, Yan Feng has been a faithful user and advocate of the Apple Macintosh since introduced to it back in school in 1991. He is the creator of Why the Mac is so great.com, a site specialising in Macintosh information, advocacy, and features. He used Macs back from a Mac Classic and System 6 to a brand-new Titanium PowerBook G4 running Mac OS X. Also an experimenter in Macromedia Fireworks, Yan never hesitates to experiment with the new. If, by some luck, you can't find him on his PowerBook or scribbling madly with his Palm, he's probably hiking or travelling, for fun or for adventure.
