Something? Nothing? I dunno. Here’s some recent tidbits, anyway.

del.icio.us – What an interesting little site I have come upon (the web address is the bolded text). On this page, people can share bookmarks with each other, leading to interesting new finds. I highly recommend that you sign up and check it out – it’s worth a shot.

MBTA Price Hike – Trains will go from $1.25 to $1.70; Bus will go from $.90 to $1.25
These hikes are by a higher amount than the last ones, leading to a lot of head scratching. All I know is that taking the subway is going to suck even more now. Here’s a word of note: Why couldn’t they just make the train cost $1.50? That’s way easier to break. Also, when (and while, since it still does) the bus was $.90, they could make an easy 10 cents off you if you lacked change to pay exact. Now, you’ll have to carry change. If they accept the dollar and the dollar only, they’re not getting anywhere with the price increase. I hear that they’re going to get rid of the exit fees on Braintree and Quincy. I never go down there, but that’s good news. What they have to do is limit the price hike (which I doubt is going to happen now) and fix the little glitches they have – some free Green Line rides, people getting in the bus from the back door when it’s too overloaded to get in from the front – things like that. They should instruct bus drivers to limit the number of people they get on a bus. Sometimes you get pas that yellow line in front, and trust me, it’s not comfortable. If all else fails, maybe they can try to get more buses running. That is, if any of this is possible with the resources that they have. In a world of increasing gas prices, the T is still a decent alternative. It could be better, but hey, nothing’s really perfect. $3 a gallon is like whaaa…

Qué mas? I’m back on digg again. That’s always pretty interesting. I swear that some of the people over there are jackasses though, and since the site is user-driven, that might explain some of my dislike for it. A guy with a blog named “moneydick” (imagine that) wrote an article about “The Science of Myspace”. It’s not a positive article, trust me. I like it because I hate Myspace, mainly because of the site’s design and the designs that these people come up with. Xanga lost a lot of people, I assume, to Myspace, and while I prefer Xanga, I would rather sit here on my ad-free, self-hosted space any day.
