Raid Gone Wrong

They came in and swept up all these workers, most of them women. The folks who run that plant, they’re back at work today. And I think there is something wrong with that.

And he’s right. Granted, these immigrants are illegal. But I don’t think it’s right that the owners who hired these immigrants and knew that they were illegally doing so should get off so free. I heard that the owner is only being charged $250 for the whole thing and that he has a pending court case.

Let’s use an example. If Mommy’s children act a fool, who do they blame? Mommy. So, if illegal workers get caught, who should get the blame? The ones that hired them in the first place. Heh, probably not the best example, but you get the point.

    Absolutely… the real criminals here are those owners. The immigrants only wanted a better swipe at life whereas the employers wanted some cheap labor. So they exploit the immigrants.
